Project 365 – Week 4/52

Project 365 - Week 4

Starting a new job and enjoying the sunshine.

This last week has been a complete whirlwind. I still can’t believe I’m finishing up my second week at my new job. It’s been going well, things are quiet but it’s something I’m grateful for – there are just 5 days to go until Canada!

I guess I should apologise for the lake pictures but my new offices do provide me with a pretty nice lunchtime walk. It certainly puts to bed a few misconceptions I had about Milton Keynes before I started working here.

Project 365 - Week 4

It’s a shame our offices are moving in a few weeks, I could have become used to walking past this each morning. Imagine it on a sunny winter’s morning! ❄️

Project 365 - Week 4

Where we are at the moment doesn’t have air conditioning, so with outdoor temperatures reaching 30° it’s been a little warm. That said, I love the sunshine and it’s been great to soak up some vitamin D in my lunch break.

Project 365 - Week 4

I walked the other way around the lake on this day. Nothing exciting to report, other than it wasn’t a good idea, no shade to hide in and recover from the heat at the end.

Project 365 - Week 4

Made myself a lonely roast due to Moon being away in Ireland. Don’t worry, there were plenty of leftovers, I didn’t eat the whole thing all on one go!

Project 365 = Week 4

After spending a day shadowing my colleague and the rest of the week bringing in and working on my personal laptop, my new work computer finally arrived. Still had that new computer smell when I went back in on Tuesday. ✨

Project 365 - Week 4

I had my sister to stay for the bank holiday weekend. After a week of sunshine, we had a disappointingly rainy day, but we didn’t let the weather make our day go to waste. We headed into Oxford for some lunch as a trip to the Natural History Museum, great way to while away a wet afternoon.

Project 365 - Week 4

Enjoying the sunshine again in beautiful Jephson Gardens in Leamington Spa. Always forget that Leamington Spa isn’t so far from us now. It’s so pretty, even if just for a bit of window shopping (and Pokéwalking).

It’s now the second day of September and I’ve managed to complete the first month of this Project 365! Unfortunately so far these have all be phone photos but I’m hoping my upcoming trip will provide a little more variety.
